Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Naji ("we", "our", "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use our mobile applications, website, and related services.
1. Information We Collect
- Account data: name, email, phone number, profile details.
- Listing data: item details, images, category, location, pricing.
- User-provided photos, videos, files, and voice messages when you upload or send them. Camera and microphone access is used for features you choose to use.
- Location data: locations you type or select for search and listings, plus precise or approximate device location when you grant permission.
- Device and technical data: device model, OS, app version, IP address, crash logs.
- Advertising and analytics data: advertising and app-instance identifiers, approximate location inferred from IP addresses, app interactions, and diagnostics collected by the advertising and analytics SDKs described below.
- Transaction and communication records within the app.
2. How We Use Information
- To provide marketplace functionality and account management.
- To enable posting, searching, location-based discovery, and messaging.
- To improve app performance, safety, and fraud prevention.
- To process payments and subscription-related actions (if applicable).
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce policies.
3. Data Sharing
We may share data with service providers (hosting, analytics, customer support, payments), legal authorities when required, and other users as needed to provide marketplace features (e.g., public listing info).
Naji uses Firebase Authentication, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Firebase App Check, Firebase Analytics, and Google Maps and Places. Firebase services support sign-in, notifications, app integrity, and analytics. When you choose Firebase phone-number sign-in, your phone number is sent to and stored by Google to improve spam and abuse prevention across Google services, including Firebase. Google Maps and Places receive location-search text, selected place information, and coordinates when you use location search or map features. Google also processes related IP addresses, device or service identifiers, interactions, and diagnostic data to operate and improve its map services.
See Google's Privacy Policy and Google advertising information. AdMob advertising is disabled in this Android release. Its ad-privacy controls are therefore not shown. Firebase Analytics and Google Maps may still process identifiers, interactions, approximate location inferred from IP addresses, and diagnostics. You can manage your advertising ID in Android settings; changing advertising-ID settings does not necessarily stop other SDK data collection.
4. Data Retention
We retain data only as long as required for service delivery, legal compliance, dispute resolution, and fraud prevention.
5. Your Rights
- Access, update, or correct your data.
- Request deletion of your account and personal data.
- Withdraw permissions (e.g., location) from device settings.

6. Children
Our services are not directed to children under 13 (or local digital age). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
